Listened to OKE yesterday and thought it was awful. He still bites flows. He still name drops. The new DJ mustard style of LA rap is wack.

Really? Cuz he never did technically and he had a bigger hit after the fact.

What is technically? Everything I've seen says he was on that label, have no clue when he parted or if he did "technically". But dude had a lot of momentum and people checking for him around 05/06 and flamed out fukking around with that label, tho it could be he just didn't release anything people cared for nationally, dude got back with the team and problem on slow down so ehh on biggest hit. Dude shoulda let the bay's love for him parlay him to a major instead of jumping on with a dude who already had split reception

Like it was never a label. Think of it as a party crew that does music together  All he really did was go on tour with him and put music out on mixtapes. That did help him get more exposure in LA originally, I can tell you that for sure. Prior to that he wasn't on anyone's radar down here. Slow Down was a #1 song in the area here for a minute. He even head lined POWER106 in LA's main show.
