Jay won more awards though and both moved the same units. I don't even wanna talk about Eminem, dude is my top 20 but he's been completely uninteresting to the hiphop world for nearly 10 years. He's Macklemore status.
His latest single without a feature was his first single from his last album, just like Eminem.

yeah DOA.. and it was his lowest charting single since that was released every other single he has released since DOA has had a FT and all have been more successful than DOA.. that was kinda my point
DOA was a street banger with no hook pushed only to hiphop stations, can't compare that to club bangers like Nkggas in Paris or pop songs with Alicia Keys. And it was more successful than on to the next one and no church in the wild.
I'd also say that forever young was a a solo single, Mr Hudson's nonexistent ass covering the original sample.
