Weeknd is dope but PND is a true hitmaker. writes, produce, singes he does it all. PND can make way more hits than Weeknd.
As a matter fact, PND already has just as many hits as Weeknd does. They're just under the names "Rhianna" and "Drake".
The Dream had a million hits for other artists as well as himself. PND could do the same, easily. He clearly got that talent
The weeknd is a much better writer than partynextdoor. The best song party has ever written is "legend"by the way.
Yeah work and controlla are hits but those are very simple songs.
you may be right about weekend's writing being better but my point was that PND does it all and he makes hits. If Drake's "label" OVO made PND a priority he'd have a few hits on his belt by now.
Not saying he'd overshadow Weeknd. Abel would still be doing his thing too. I just feel PND could be at that level also by now.
