I wouldn't let anybody run me off, so what if people know what you look like? Unless people are honestly trying to ruin your life. Otherwise, who cares if you're in your mid 20s posting, hell I'll be 30 still posting unless I have a family and even then I'm sure I'd pop up from time to time.
