Given the fact that I feel like I’m one of possibly 11 people on this earth that actually enjoyed Saints Row 4 and considers it my favorite of the series I’m so happy that this terrible reboot shines a more positive light on SR4 by default.

Game is what it was always supposed to be. Mindless fun. Every game doesn’t need some dramatic story

I understand artistic integrity and wanting to enact one's own vision, but at a certain point you have to sorta listen to the demands of your base. All the IP owners had to dude was release a game in the mold of SR2 and it would sell like hotcakes (more than likely reviewed good as well). That's it. Fans have been asking for that for a decade. Instead they doubled down once again on the later half of games in the franchise which became too much a joke of itself which sold well but almost killed the franchise.​

This game is most like SR2 out of all of them. They just moved away from dildo jokes.

Games writing is stupid. They don’t know what to say about games that aren’t their darling few.

SR3 was totally over the top goofy with the dildo bat and such. 2 was the more grounded kinda GTA spoof.

From what i’ve seen this looks more like 2 than the craziness the series took it to afterward.

And if we are being real the OG trilogy wasn’t really critically acclaimed either. So now to say this game failed cause it’s not like the game they didn’t like the first time around, that shyt don’t even make sense

GTA and in turn RDR2 had 2014 gameplay too. At least saints row is fun.
