I just watched some reviews and apparently you know how when you have a car and you go kill some cops and then the cops chase you, and then the feds?
Ya... there's none of that in this.
Seems like all you need to do is keep driving in a straight line and eventually the cops lose you


That was honestly one of the main reasons I wanted this game!!!!!!!!!!!!

Folk got revisionist history. SR 1 and 2 were arguably better than GTA 3 and 4-- especially with how disappointing GTA 4 was and the outcry when it first came out. San Andreas was arguably the greatest sand box game ever made, so when GTA 4 went away from that, Volition came along and stole Rockstar's thunder.

There was a heavy debate at the time on which franchise is better; that was until SR 3 came out on that silly shyt and killed all of their potential.

If Volition never went super silly with the direction of the franchise, they'd be neck and neck with Rockstar right now. Let's not forget how ahead of their time Saints Row was with their plot. Helping one of the female gang members Aisha get her music career popped off and basically being the muscle behind the scenes. That's a genius plot that reflects what's happening in the music industry now in real life. That storyline was a million times better than GTA 3, it's not even a question.

I do remember people crying about how “serious” GTA became after Liberty City dropped and how they embraced Saints Row for being the antithesis to it.

I'm playing now and now I, also, see why they didn't just remake 1-3...it would be worse.

These character models and animation look older than the 3rd game...maybe I'm bugging because I played the remaster most recently.

We'll see what else is up.

Directional down is the crouch button

You get health by getting a meter to 100% THEN doing a takedown

The aiming is as bad as the reviews said it was...it's like trying to assist aim, but, then the reticle gets wide even though your not moving

Given the fact that I feel like I’m one of possibly 11 people on this earth that actually enjoyed Saints Row 4 and considers it my favorite of the series I’m so happy that this terrible reboot shines a more positive light on SR4 by default.

count me as one of those 11 people. I had way too much fun playing Saints Row 4. I've had fun playing every game in this franchise so far.

This one I'm going to wait for. Hearing that none of the original characters back doesn't make me too enthusiastic

This should've come out like 6 years ago.
