Well, they milked the SR3 style and nearly killed the series so hopefully they are smarter than that.

If anything the reason it sold better is because it was a mid-late console cycle game. A lot of people didn't play SR1 and 2 simply because they didn't have a 360/PS3 at the time. GTA4 wasnt even out yet when SR1 dropped and it was barely out when 2 dropped.
