Coinbase trying to scam you with dust attacks.


They do have the earn feature where you can earn small amounts on some coins for answering questions. I got some shyt yesterday. Think it was called Bounce. You don't get much but it helps I guess. I know xlm is one of them.

I haven't answered any questions but if y'all say it's good, I'm cool with random drops

It's called a dust attack. They have you sell it or connect to another site that steals your wallet info. Anyone can send you coins but when you interact with it is when the trouble starts. Let me get some info right quick.

I haven't answered any questions but if y'all say it's good, I'm cool with random drops

on an exchange it's slightly different. Them offering you 5 dollars in Bitcoin is just an incentive to get you to start trading/accumulating Bitcoin in your account.

What is Dust Attack ? How to prevent it ?


The best way to get rid of these dust attacks is to just not move the dust funds you receive. If the funds are not moved then the attackers will not be able to make the analysis and de-anonymize the users because attackers always have to do the combined analysis of all wallet addresses to track and de-anonymize the users.



And also don't be giving out any info like passwords, security key, etc. Use 2FA on all accounts possible especially Coinbase. Even social media ones. Better to spend a minute opening the authenticator app looking for a code to transfer or buy coins than to have to deal with the hassle of someone accessing your account.

Nope, if you didn't purchase it don't mess with it... Your wallet will be wiped clean....its called dusting.

Good thing about zerion is the notifications. I use android but Apple might have too. Metamask don't say shyt but I got a notification from zerion soon as they sent those coins earlier. Good to have real time info on the accounts cuz you don't want something to happen and you find out much later when you check your accounts.

Not until a product or exchange listing happens. It's remained kind of stable but has had its dips. Likely be a slow rest of the week. Maybe when the market starts bouncing back up it'll gain some momentum. Don't expect anything major until after Thanksgiving weekend.
