sounds very high for an assistant manager...many store managers for smaller retailers make less than teachers...in the min 30k range..H&M is pretty big but I doubt 80k, if she is getting paid that much what would the store manager get 100k? 2 people making almost 200k combined? Thats not smart for costs especially in an economy where people will work that assistant manager position for 35k with the quickness..

read my prior post but I was curious and went to a site where employees report salaries....It seems about right when I looked at store manager reporting at around 45k average for the 12 store managers that posted on this site.

She could if she is working 60 or so hours a week and the pay structure is at the top end for dept stores.

True. At my job you might only get paid 15.00/hr but every hour or 40 you work you get paid Time and a half 22.00/hr and 30.00/hr on Sundays. So if you want to make hella it's possible

like my sister is a teacher. Salary. her Salary is $35,000 per year that's all she can make.

It's a retail store breh. They have hourly managers and usually 1 or 2 salaried managers.

assistant manager......in retail. what city is this??? 99.9% chance this is ducktales. if u wanna be sure, download the glassdoor app and look up the salary and it'll give u a range.

i worked in retail management a few years ago. assistant managers at zumiez, tillys, and forever 21 were starting off around $13-$15 an hour. Store managers $16-$20 an hour.

You're average retail manager is making like 35-40k a year and that's putting in anywhere from 50-60 hours a week on the job

I used to work at one and me and this guy one day did the math on how much our manager was clocking hourly with the hours he worked on salary and it came out to like $9.50 an hour
