Saying the system plays a part isnt blaming the system. Saying socioeconomic status plays a part in crime isnt blaming "ses". Stop dealing with black and white narratives if you're as smart as you're trying to look.
Your attitude hinders change because it doesnt deal with the FULL picture. Only half. I've consistently said that PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY is a part of it. But so is the system's injustices. Ignoring EITHER side doesnt make the porblemgo away. You're probably right. But I always hold out a little bit of hope. He could ACTUALLY be black and it would be best to not have blacks thinking like he does IF we can help it.
