Kobe was the first player victimized by the failed "Next MJ" marketing ploy by the NBA and David Stern. I appreciate his game for being "Kobe" and no one else who is always brought up and forced down our collective basketball watching throats for no reason other than people refusing to get over one player. were REAL victims of the NBA trying to relate them to Jordan. At least Kobe was able to become a legend in his own right.
