and he's damn right. And this is the type of forum he should be taking if he wants to gain more support IMO.Sitting down while the anthem is on is just making him lose public support which would help his cause even more. Whether you agree with the anthem and standing and saluting it or whatever is irrelevant. We all know what most Americans feel about it, and it's taken more as a slight to the military and veterans than it is to politicians and cops.
Most Americans have either served, or know someone in their family that is serving or has served. They take it as a slap to them. Most Americans feel some type of way about politicians and government and stupid policies,etc. Him fighting that way, and using his position to raise awareness for lack of cop training by using the media rather than letting them use him(like they are doing) would be way better.

The season where he was "pathetic" he played like 6 games. Prior to that in Harbaugh's final season he was still pretty decent at worst. Black qb margin of error is very minimal. He had two really good season, an aight one, and one where he was injured....That's pathetic?

Just IMO, shyt really don't matter. It's just a symbol and this country in particular has shown that it's willing to make anything a symbol. People who got upset with the Pac Sun store selling tees with the American flag upside down are probably the same ones who've been to wet t-shirt contest with chicks wearing American flag bikinis and shyt. Or the one former Air Force chick who went out to Valdosta St. Univ fukkin with that one kid cause he was walking on the flag yet she was in a playboy issue naked while holding the flag. White folks have shown a strong tendency to give a fukk about patriotism only when it's a different race than them or in the rare instance, a white person that they don't like. Just the way it is. Just have to maneuver around in that world. I protest the national anthem at every sporting event I go to. I just go to the bathroom or some shyt before they even start and even then it's some dummy telling folks the anthem is playing and respect.
