A bargaining chip? Nah fukking Nick Foles WAS a bargaining chip. The young QB who actually showed some potential in this league. Not the soft fakkit who gets injured on his way to the arena and hasn't done shyt in the NFL but for some reason dumbass Chip Kelly thinks is worth Foles PLUS draft picks.

Yea I hear you...but Sam Bradford has a big name and played for the lowly Rams...they can sell him on his college pedigree, a few NFL successes and his previous lack of structure. Given that with future picks some team higher in the draft just may bite...not having the patience to grow an already struggling franchise with an untested rookie qb(Mariota) Nick foles is better but he still has some seeing him as a well performing backup. Without injury Sam was supposed to start and is seen as a starter in the league.

OSU had Mariota running for his life cause his OL was shytty. Not Mariota's fault
Yea his OL was shytty...but that's exactly when the big money NFL cats wanna see you perform, he didn't have to win the game, but had he of made a few dynamic plays that would have made his case a lil stronger...but there was nothing

Throwing to a 2nd-string TE, 3rd-string primary WR, and 2nd-string slot WR...who couldn't get separation on their own and dropped balls left and right.

Not to mention two o-linemen out and several others only back after being injured a lot of the season (their center was still injured for the combine even though he played in the game).

And still threw for 337 yards and ran for 40 more against a lights-out defense. If he had had his star TE (Brown) and any of his 3 star WRs (Addison, Allen, Carrington) out there, it would have been a different story.

Ok, I'm an OSU alum so I may be a lil biased:yeshrug:, and they did drop balls left and right, but I think there was still some expectation of him breaking the pocket and stretching the defense out with his legs, I mean just something to keep the osu defense at least honest. But yea, he truly had some disadvantages to deal with.
