Pointless naw, unless you hungry for 1st party exclusives you know the thing Sony stans made noise about all the end of last generation and start of this one
But it'll truly never be pointless because of the shift from HDD.
With that I been telling these stans that the shortage because of COVID is the only reason PS5 is still being bought like it is. The me or a PS5 memes and the "you want a PS5 right" plus all the rest were the best marketing the PS5 could have asked for.
On top of that the shortage made acquiring one seem like the person who got it was made lucky/cool. PlayStation was already the cool kid system for gamers. COVID made it just cool to own one, gamer or not.

stopped listening 10 seconds in when he blamed Sony for releasing during the pandemic. It's clear this guy does not know how things work.
And Xbox not? Since they raised the price and their Xbox exclusive games are also on PS5 and Switch 2. So, are you telling me Xbox isn't pointless?
