The only moment where it looked like he had the juice again in EVOLVE/DGUSA was Ronin but that ended up going nowhere. He's had a good number of years with Evolve now and not a single hot storyline. Danielson/Morishima wrote itself with Dbry's eye getting legit fukked up, so the last hot thing Gabe booked off the strength was CZW/ROH. He had a great run there from 03-06 but yeah, man hasn't been shyt since

His writing is thatnow? Admittedly, I'm not too familiar with his work in Evolve so my opinion is coming from a place of ignorance and just wanting to see dream matches.
Yeah, he's kinda shot creatively wise. He's still great at booking talent and putting them in matches that are gonna be great - he was the first to give more exposure to Thatcher/Busick/Gulak and their unique style - but at his last couple of years in ROH showed, he's more of an expert in putting together interesting matches, not angles or storylines.

Seeing how they've been about not bringing in too many people who are similar (not signing Swann when Kalisto and Neville were around but bringing him in now that they're main roster) I think the odds of Gulak coming in are pretty low now that Biff is there. I've always had it Biff/Thatcher/Gulak in that order, and wouldn't be surprised if that's the way they come into NXT with some time between.

I heard he had next which is cool because he has progressed a lot in the 10 or so years hes been around. Rory still sucks though.
Im kinda whatever about Biff because he is just bland to me. Like a leaner Cesaro. Plus they have Ciampa whenever they want so he kinda fills that void. Gulak plays the dikkish heel well enough to be a top guy now that Owens is on the main roster.

Dog you REALLY feel that about Gulak? He is the most generic fukking person to me. Biff is the first person I've seen since that has that Benoit type always intensity. I hated Gulak until about 2013/2014 when he went to PWG and then i watched his CZW run again and became a fan. Biff is intense but his look has been done and honestly a guy like Chris dikkinson is still the more believable crazy intense heel. Not saying Biff doesnt deserve to get looked at, he does, but i see Gulak fitting in more long term. I see Biff getting really old really fast on the main roster
