What is it about the Dominican Republic that pumps out so many c00ns and self hating blacks? They aren't even the most mixed group. Cubans and Puerto Ricans are. Brazil has similar levels of admixture to the DR having black, brown and white looking Brazilians and the c00ning isn't anywhere near as strong down there. Even Cubans accept the black heritage within their history. Did Trujillo brainwash the whole island or something

Yes, I am telling you that brainwashing is deep. I thank God everyday I was raised by an educated Dominican man that moved from DR to the South Bronx during Civil Rights era so he knew better and taught me better but any time I would go back to DR and talk to family/friends that ignorance was so thick like god damn...

Colonialism , Trujillo, Haiti. That's why many of us be on that self hate or that
shyt. DR is more mixed than PR.. The island of PR is 75% cac. The melanated Cubans have always embraced their afro roots, their culture have the most African influence out of all spanish speaking countries in Latin America.

Mixed is the wrong word....I meant Cuba & Puerto Rico are more white. So if anybody should be
it should be them. Cuba as you said embraced their African roots and even though PRs can be sometimes they're much more welcoming of black culture than the DR. The DR has a whole island full of dudes that look like Trey Songz and girls that look like Garcelle Beauvais but they really think Spain considers them to be real Spaniards
