EJ isn't a quarterback. I mean, he is, but he isn't. Yeah, he has all the physical tools; but, there's something intrinsic about playing the position he lacks: throwing guys open, throwing to guys that are covered, innately knowing the right amount of pace, touch or the trajectory the ball needs to be completed, etc. Jimbo might be the GOAT QB coach. He got a QB drafted in the first round that has to see you be wide ass open before he will throw it, and another with obvious talent limitations.
With all that being said, EJ had to be shaving points against the Gators his last year. He had to be.

Yeah, one thing I like about him is that he catches almost everything with hands rather than his body, which most rookie/young receivers fail to do a lot. He kind of reminds me of a bigger Steve Smith

Watkins is a beast BUT I think teams will double him like crazy, I don't expect him to put up huge numbers. It's basically him and Chandler out there catching balls. I wish him the best though.
