Fans cheering for a heel doesn't make their character a tweener. Especially not in NXT, where indie guys are ALWAYS going to get cheered. People cheered for Kevin Owens after he turned on Sami. Did that make him a tweener?

You can carry on with this all day - my point is it'd take about 5 seconds to turn Joe because the crowd are ready for him to be a face whether he is or not. Up until he turned on Finn (which was ALWAYS about the title ), he was over as hell and nobody could really tell if he was heel or face.

He's become a more defined heel since Takeover: London in order to run the programme with Finn, but he's basically still a Brock-style antihero tweener at heart and everyone knows it. Even Finn's maintained a kayfabe respect of Joe after 'only surviving' the first two matches so that the crowds don't entirely turn their back on him.

No, he's a full on heel, dude. This is not even up for debate. Fans cheering him does not mean his character is that of a tweener. He's a heel supported by fans. That is not the same thing as a tweener, and it never has been.

You're literally the only person who couldn't tell if Joe was a heel or face since he turned on Balor. He's spent the last 4 1/2-5 months facing babyfaces and teaming exclusively with other heels.

Are you not reading a word I'm writing?

Yawn.

Go learn to converse.

"He's a tweener at heart" does not mean he's currently playing a tweener. It means Samoa Joe the employed professional wrestler can swing both ways. He can be turned heel or face in an instant depending on what feud he needs to work.

Corbin is probably the most over challenge to his title - therefore he'd be an obvious choice to lean more towards face for a bit. Being Joe, he can walk either side of that line easily. That's a big reason why he was such a good acquisition for the company.... he can develop ALL the talent.

Is that easier to understand?

Yes, I read that you're saying he's a tweener because he could be turned at any second due to the fans loving him. Then you changed it to "He's a Brock-style antihero tweener" , which is even dumber, tbh. I don't think you know what any of these terms mean.

"A tweener is a character who is portrayed as being morally neutral or ambiguous (that is, they are between a face and a heel). Sometimes referred to as greys. Another term to describe this type of character is an anti-hero."

This does not describe Joe at all. He's unambiguously heel, and has been since last November. He cheats, he tries to injure people, and backs down from fights when they aren't to his suiting. That's heel behavior.

Tweener was obviously the wrong word to use because it seems to have got you all in your feelings, but it was the closest term I had to describe someone who's just as easily over as a heel or a face. Not everyone can play both sides so easily... it makes him an incredibly useful talent.

I didn't intend to say he's currently being booked as a tweener, so I probably shouldn't have used the word. It seems to have got you very upset.

This wasn't worth this many posts. I'm just off to find a better hobby.

How are you going to edit shyt into your post AFTER I quote you? That's some bush-league shyt right there. Also, Corbin is done with NXT so you're wrong again.

Heh, editing was just to make myself clearer - sorry if you quoted it first.

Anyway, I'm happy for you to be right here because what you disagree with isn't what I was trying to say. I used the wrong word, admitted it and dapped you up. You can stop being a little bytch about it.
