Good luck getting $300 for an xbox one on craigslist or eBay.

You will get lowballed to death on craigslist and eBay will take 13% so that you will see about $260 after all the fees and bullshyt.
That would be a last resort. I'm getting at friends and co-workers 1st

Yeah that's why I didn't bother, the TV is going to be a pain in the ass to get rid of on craigslist.

Then if you try on eBay you have to compete with larger companies who can ship cheaper than you and in a competitive market on top of that. I would have bought it if I needed a TV, but my next one will be a 4K all-in-one hybrid.
Selling a TV on eBay is a sure fire way to burn money. You can't really insure a TV through the mail the claim will end up getting denied. UPS and Fed Ex will toss it around and it will arrive broken. The buyer will then file a claim for item not received as described and you'll be out of the money you spent to buy the TV and the money it cost to ship it.

eBay is an absolute disaster, I think I just sold my last console on there because of false claims. The buyers literally have 45 days to say that the item arrived damaged or not as described and there is nothing you can do because eBay/PayPal will seize your funds the minute the claim goes through and they will always side with the buyer no matter what...even with fraud.

I sold an xbox 360 500GB model last month, buyer claimed that it arrived broken...shipped it back to me and the console worked just fine, but what did he do? He swapped out my 500GB Hard Drive for a 250GB defective one which is clearly fraud. What did eBay respond with? Told me to consider it as a cost of doing business...and gave me a "$15 courtesy credit" for my troubles. They actively supported fraud right to me over the phone and PAID for it in order to protect the fraud buyer to continue being a customer :dead:

This deal is basically good for someone who needs a basic TV for something and wants an Xbox. Buying this to flip looks to be a worthless endeavor.

This is seriously just what I needed I'm glad I waited so long :whew:

You can get a bigger tv for around that price on Craigslist from someone desperate to get rid of it.

TV's are basically worthless, people are always looking to dump them.

man it wouldn't be hard to flip this for a profit but not a big one unless you live in the hood and then you gotta watch out for other things. I have no double I can sell the tv for 400. But I dont even want to run this risk in this area.

Also this is a great deal if you need either a tv or want an xbox.

I'd suggest not passing it up, or at least buying and keeping it sealed incase you want to return later.

No, it will be hard to flip it for a profit...if a profit at all.

With the time it will take to make a "profit" you will actually lose because its time you could have spent doing something else.

All depends on the area you're in. Stop speaking on absolutes because it wouldn't be worth YOUR time.

I sold my black PS4 on there and the buyer tried to file the claim so soon eBay blocked it because the item hadn't arrived yet. I guess they ended up being forced to keep it cause I never heard back about it again. I won't sell anything like a console on eBay anymore. I just take their average price and subtract 13% then sell on Craigslist for about that figure.

To appease the buyers eBay has turned itself into a con-artist playground. The whole sellers can't leave negative feedback thing is stupid. All they had to do was put a moratorium on visible feedback after left and then the moratorium expires make the feedback visible to both parties but If one didn't leave it they no longer can.

Nah man, you'd be VERY lucky to flip that into a profit worthwhile.

I've been doing this long enough to know, it won't be worth the time to the MAJORITY of people...ESPECIALLY in a bigger city. I've already seen some of these pop up in my area...the competition will continue to bring the price down.

People don't go on Craigslist looking to pay fair market value for stuff. They're on there looking for deals.

They don't care if your shyt is new or used as long as it works and they can talk you down in price. Why would they pay you $400 for that TV when they can buy it at a store for a little more and have a company and a return policy backing it? If they buy the brand new TV from you and open it and it's defective then they gotta call the manufacture and they don't have a proof of purchase. If they buy it at the store and it's defective they can take it back and get a refund or exchange it.
