I have the S25 Ultra and I thought about upgrading but I'm going to pass. I saw MKBHD's review of the S26 Ultra and while that privacy feature does look intriguing, it seems by implementing it, the overall quality of the screen, even when not in privacy mode, is overall worse. That's the tradeoff they had to make so that they could fit in the feature. I would rather the higher quality screen. Outside of the privacy feature I don't really see a difference. They haven't upgraded to silicon-carbon batteries yet, so I'll wait until the S27 drops and the screen with the privacy feature is probably better and hopefully the higher density batteries are in there.Privacy screen on the Ultra is legit intriguing. I have one on both my iPhone and iPad. Would love a built in one.
Hope Apple Pay’s homage to this feature![]()
Word ….. I can’t wait for Apple to bite so I can copi can't wait to use the privacy screen.
I'm one of those crazies who bought them film ones from amazon/temu etc....so having it built in is an absolute plus.
The battery is a non-issue unless you're bothered by daily charging. I worked 13.5 hours and the phone never touched a charger. Got home with over 40% battery left. On my iPhone 15 Pro Max now by the middle of the day it needs to hit a charger. Even in that thing's prime it limped to the finish of a normal 10 hour work day for me.I have the S25 Ultra and I thought about upgrading but I'm going to pass.
