Disappointed. .shyt looks the same and mad boring...on top of that I thought they would stray from this cheap plastic design and come out with something more premium and sleek looking..and I have and love my S3...

Same here. I sold my S3 and kept the nexus primarily because of it.

I don't understand how they looked at the design with the two touch buttons for menu and back, but decided a physical button (that's far less intuitive) for home was a good idea.

Yooo...lemme guess u got the Blue one right?...I thought my shyt was defective and took the first one I had back when I first got it...I had bought my girl the red one and hers didnt do that but I got a replacement blue one and it had the same exact issue...so I just kept it..smh...

I might upgrade or wait until the S5 I'm still on the OG Galaxy S but thanks to custom ROMs I'm still with Jelly Bean and get almost a week between recharging.

it's like people forgot that no matter how lazy swype,t9 and voice to text are... it'll never match the efficiency and speed of a keyboard.

Cosign 100%. keyboards are UNQUESTIONABLY better. I would have paid over $100 more for an s3 with a slider keyboard.

Maybe in landscape, two-handed operation. Even then I can probably type faster one-handed with Swype than you can with a physical keyboard. But I also type about 100 wpm on a keyboard.
