Samsung Officially Cancels the Galaxy Note 7

Walked into Best Buy (had to deal with them since that's where I bought the phone).

• Requested the all-black S7 Edge
• Asked Best Buy rep to let me talk to Verizon when they got them on the phone
• Told the Verizon rep over the phone that I paid an early termination fee to get the Note 7, and now I'm screwed
• Convinced the Verizon rep to make a note in my file that I could upgrade the S7 Edge to something else within the calendar year with no early termination fee
• Best Buy had a deal where if you upgraded to an S7 Edge, you got a free 32 in Samsung Smart TV
• Lawyer in me said, "This is an upgrade, right?"
• Best Buy guy looks at his manager, shrugs shoulders, and says, "I guess it is."

Total come-up from this whole debacle:

1. Free 256 GB memory card
2. Free Samsung Gear VR
3. Free 32 in Samsung Smart TV
4. Free upgrade to a new phone within the calendar year (S8 Edge ; Note 8 )
5. $100 credit from Samsung

I was just looking around, dude asked if I needed help & I didn't even respond, I just made a face. He looked at me & was like "note 7"? I was just like yeah man

I seriously love this phone. The pixel is not that impressive, the LG v20 is cool but it's a serious drop from the n7. And 7 edge plus will just make me miss the n7 more.

I don't know what to get either.

Alright brehs so I need your advice. I used my upgrade to get the Note 7 on Verizon and I want to switch it for an S7 edge. What's the best way to cop the Edge, but save my upgrade or at the very least have an upgrade available this time next year.

So I'm on the train (LIRR) heading home and this white lady sits next me...Im on my phone catching up on my shows like I typically do and she asks me what phone is that...I told the bytch "it's the one that explodes"...She put her hand on her chest, looked at me petrified and moved to another seat (that was my intention telling her that cuz she smelled like cat piss)

The dudes that check your tickets come over to me about 5 minutes later cuz of course the bytch told them what I said....

Them: sir please stand up

Me: why

Them: another passenger has told us you may have an explosive device on you please stand up...

Me: That's not necessary, she's being over dramatic...its a Note7 phone...

Them: oh you mean that samsung phone

Me: yes that phone

Them: ok can you please power it down because passengers are concerned...

I wanted to tell them go eat a dikk but this situation ain't going to end well for a 6'3 230 pound black man scaring white folk like that...That's how we end up getting shot for no damn reason...

So I said aight its off...but all I did was turn off the screen and listen to music...

This whole experience with this phone been wild...Can't help but smh and laugh...
