Lol this shyt almost laughable I took my S3 off the charger a hour and half ago and have ONLY gone on the coli. I have all the standard stuff turned off gps, sync etc and am sitting at 80% battery

Your battery is doing better than my S3 battery. 1 1/2 hours of doing nothing, with all extra signals off, I'd be at about 60%, no exaggeration.
@ the thread title though
I lost another 10% in the last 25min, only thing I done is make this thread and browse one other thread
Thats actually terrible. There are two types of Lithium batteries, lithium polymer and lithium-ion. The Galaxy 3 likely came with the Ion variant, which is cheaperYou gotta replace your battery every 6 months or so
Lithium batteries die faster over time
My Note 2 battery would last 2 days when I first got it then after about 6 months it would only last a day...A year later and I'm getting about 10 hours on my OG battery
Copped a new battery now it's back to charging my phone once every other day

Yea these phones use ion batteriesThats actually terrible. There are two types of Lithium batteries, lithium polymer and lithium-ion. The Galaxy 3 likely came with the Ion variant, which is cheaper
A lot of phones are moving in the removable direction. Just be sure that it includes a polymer battery instead of an ion typeYea these phones use ion batteries
I actually found this out a couple years ago when I was trying to find out why my MyTouch 4G kept dying so fast
That's why I don't cop phones that don't have a removable battery
It's the same for iPhones tooIs this the life of a GSDG?

The Note 3 doesn't have that problem![]()
the Note 3 is still newMy note 3 last a day 1/2..

A lot of people charge their batteries wrong though and that's the problem.
Try charging it to full, letting it drop down to about 10% then doing what's known as a maintenance charge... 100% +
Once you do that you should really only charge between about 40 and 80%. Then do the maintenance charge once a month.
This is recommended for any battery but I know most won't heed this post.![]()
