A new report from ETNews states that Samsung is slashing component orders by between 10% and 15%. Much more troubling, however, is the claim that Samsung will slash Galaxy S4 production by nearly 50% to 6.5 million units — Samsung had 12.5 million Galaxy S4 handsets built in May, the report states.

Its just not that much of an upgrade still better then iphone and windows phone but so are the note 2 and htc one and nexus 4.

12.5 million phones sold in 4 weeks is a flop. U.S consumers are stuck in contracts. Iphone 4s and Gs2, note 1 users are still stuck in contracts....carriers got rid of the early upgrades

Samsung galaxy line is not just one device like APPLE Iphone. Samsung is focused on their brand. Note 3 will be a smash. Samsung dont have to sell 80 million phones to have done their job of rattling APPLE. APPLE switch up their software and created the subpar ios 7. Samsung will eat off their galaxy line for a while

gs3 = 50 million sold
gs4= 70 million sold....I see that as progress
