Apple didn't invent shyt. The apple A7 is a arm architecture chip built off of arm license, arm announced 64 bit over a year ago and had samples out. Apple is just the first to announce it in shipping product. Its coming to phones anyway in 2014 with or without apple.

Here u go. The A7 is a built on armV8..but its an almost COMPLETELY custom chip by now...same as Krait and Exynos..they buy the license but they also do most of the footwork
