Been reading up on Samsung's The Wall technology, found a thread over on AVS forums where a guy ordered one. Samsung has been advertising that you can make a 219" display with it, this guy opted for the 146" one. From what I understand it is a collection of panels that connect together to form a seamless display. MicroLED panels are $25K a piece and you need 16 of them for the 146" version. You get 2 extra panels for future replacement if you need them, a connection/media box, and a Samsung install team to put everything together.
I am curious if over time this tech will catch on and you will be able to make whatever size screen you need? Could this be threat to projectors if the tech got inexpensive enough?
