Admittedly I don't watch much anime but I always liked this because the battles weren't long and drawn out like some other series I seen before. You get sliced then that's yo ass no senzu bean gonna help. The relative "realism" compared to some of the shows drew me in.

I really thought Jin died when the samurai guy sliced him with the sword and he fell into the water.Mugen was Beatrix-like the way he escaped the guy with the wrecking ball sword, only for the old geezer to shoot him.

Dope from start to finish, and it introduced me to Nujabes.

by far my favorite anime series this is what really got me into anime, at the time i was just a graphitti artist but i wanted to get into anime but i really wasnt feeling what was out there, low and behold i give this show a shot and it was like love at first sight

this sounds like an ATQ beat i could hear a Q-tip sample on the hook going "Back in the day when I was a teenager.."

Try Tokyo Tribe and Air Gear, but they really don't compare to SC

Been meaning to go back and rewatch it......been a long time since I saw it. GOAT soundtrack for sure....its a series like this that shows how important a soundtrack can be for a series or movie.
