I think a apple sends buses. His commute is only an hour and then he rides an a apple coach bus the rest of the way :mjlol:

man dude is not winning no matter how you slice it. the ONLY scenario I can see this as a W would be if he were only required to come into the office 1 day a week MAX.

in this day and age, given the viability of telecommuting, why ALL those tech companies would insist on a physical presence in the bay area makes no sense to me.

Connections and easier exposure though a known area.

Microsoft for example literally helped lay the blueprint for the Seattle tech scene for companies like Amazon to blow up where there was no such scene before them. It's hard building yourself in a place where there is no support or resources to build your company.

Damn didn't know that:snoop:

Watts' $1B Makeover Worries Some Residents

They said they said the same shyt when knocking down chicago projects :mjpls:rebuild & only let 5% of the original residents move back (mostly senior residents)
That's precisely what's happening. They say they will take back residents in good standing and now a lot of residents are finding out they aren't in good standing. This one (Mexican) woman had to kick her 17 year old son out to keep her status. They're going to get a lot of people the fukk up outta there over minor shyt that they let slide for years, and they'll move on to the Nickersons, Imperial Courts, all the projects across LA will be gone in a good 20 years and replaced with high rise multi-use complexes and with that comes a change in the demographics of the neighborhood.

Damn that's ridiculous when you really think about it... Nothing but greed.......but i do wonder how ppl in S.F and NYC Make ends meet tho cause with only my wife and our daughter its hard enough in San Diego and we are a bonafide six figure household and most household's in this country are not

Organic food blows a big hole in my wallet but it has reflected in my health. Half of my co-workers are sick half of the year. I am catching some of that but nowhere near what I would be if I didn't eat extra healthy which costs money here.

Plus it's a trade off, you spend more now or later when you older and those healthcare bills start adding up from all the damage done from poor quality food, stress, lack of sleep ,caffeine, alcohol etc.

I read an article saying how the restaurants couldn't afford rent and the ones who could were losing their best chefs and workers to Google and the rest of the tech companies.

That's fukking ridiculous. But I can't complain that much because of Google I have a high paying job. :patrice:

The thing I ponder about places that people say are sky high to live in, is; everyone is not balling, there are people making minimum wages in these cities; if they are so bad, how can the average person live there?

The average person has to live in the outer boroughs... :francis:

The people that's living in these high rises are transplants foreign money hoarding b*stards who find living in these cities a niche life. knowing full and well they dont care. Manhattan, Brooklyn and Vancouver to name a few places...

4500 a month's is the average? Yikes!
Now that I work in NYC real estate/rental management I just realize how fukked up SF's housing market is.
I keep hearing this but no one knows when that will happen. The other poster is right. It's happening everywhere
Thats gonna happen when the only people who can afford big city living are the insanely rich....who in reality are a small segment of the population.

Imagine all the people in San Francisco renting under rent control :ohlawd:
Last time I was out there I stayed at the Buchanan on Sutter st. One morning there was a long as line of old ass Asians getting free breakfast by the community center up the block. I bet none of them pay more than $800 a month cause they got the rent control locked in
