Only reason I can think of gay people being turned away for blood donations is the fact they may carry "gay diseases". Y'know, HIV/AIDS. Which is kinda homophobic but there's some truth to that. of course not every homosexual is infected

given how long blood is stored before it's used, and how it's re-tested...I wouldn't have a problem with this.

Dunno if yall give blood but I get a call every 8 weeks begging for blood, and they tell me it's an emergency. But in reality they have a shyt ton stored. Not saying you shouldn't give blood, just know that they're stacked.
