Don't lump all liberals and progressives together. I fully agree with the CDC in this case, and the ban on donating blood. The statistics are there for all to see, and there should be no added risk to the process in my opinion.

That being said, a homo can just lie about being homo and give blood, so in some ways it's kind of pointless.

Nah breh, the WHO, UN and CDC have come out with clear evidence that gay men are significantly more at risk of having HIV/AIDS. Those are scientific based facts.

They are telling even gay men who don't have HIV/AIDS to start taking medicine just as added precaution. That's how serious it is getting.

To me that provides enough reason to ban blood donations. Other groups like people who have recently gotten tattoos, blood transfusions or use needles are also banned.

Only reason I can think of gay people being turned away for blood donations is the fact they may carry "gay diseases". Y'know, HIV/AIDS. Which is kinda homophobic but there's some truth to that. of course not every homosexual is infected

given how long blood is stored before it's used, and how it's re-tested...I wouldn't have a problem with this.

Dunno if yall give blood but I get a call every 8 weeks begging for blood, and they tell me it's an emergency. But in reality they have a shyt ton stored. Not saying you shouldn't give blood, just know that they're stacked.
