Sanctuary Campuses

Many college campuses are protesting to become sanctuary campuses for undocumented people. Students are demanding that the university administrations support this initiative and while it looks attractive on paper, once governments start cutting funding to these schools, the administrations will no doubt start participating with the deportments.

What do y'all think about this?

That's not what college campuses are made for. If the students feel that strongly about housing illegal immigrants then they can move out of their dorms and let illegals stay there.

I will say this; people objected to the Fugitive Slave Law of 1850, and did not enforce federal law. It is getting time for people to put their money where their mouth is

The drug laws are racist, but if you smoke weed at school the schools have no problem calling the police on your black ass.. but lets all rally to protect minorities as long as they aren't black.

Many illegal immigrants are attending school taking classes... and if/when the schools are asked who is an illegal immigrant the schools will have to decide on whether to turn over that information or refuse and lose funding. The third option is they could lie about illegals not being there.. but that is all sorts of trouble once caught.

Well in my opinion they need to turn every body that's illegal in to the government. I'm still paying on student loans from 10 damn years ago, mean while Maria brags about getting a full ride while being undocumented while giving her valedictorian speech. When Maria and Juan start getting free rides from Ivy league schools then it will be a problem. But as usual us black folk are expected to welcome every one, everywhere with open arms no matter how much we get slighted in the process.
