I'll say this and it's not mentioned here but his "speculation tax" that I think he links to paying for college tuition is dangerous and would kill liquidity and the market.

I think Bernie and his convictions are genuine and a lot of his policies speak to a lot of people. I think some of it reeks of jealousy of the rich but I get it.

I support free or low cost college and a national health insurance standard.
How will we fund them? Through taxes?
One thing I feel that was great about the Affordable Health Care act is that it forced lower income Americans onto Medicaid. It fell short because as usual due to states rights.
Maybe if they can nation wide make medicaid available to all people up to some threshold say 50k agi that would cover most Americans the remainder who have to pay would get a tax credit dollar for dollar.

Also how will the private sector be effected by a NHS service? Specifically job loss and the stocks.

One thing that I know I don't agree with is creating more "taxes" on Wall Street. It could negatively effect our stock market and undoubtably the cost would be passed on to investors.
As it is we're in a currency war with essentially the entire world. We need to be proactive.
