A blatantly wrong dude was elected president and pardoned blatantly wrong people for their crimes. Do you know what country you’re in?
Trump was elected, saying blatantly wrong literally makes no sense he won popular and electoral college.

He used his presidential power to pardon people.

What any of that has to do with recognizing how jury nullification can be abused, is a mystery.
Like I said remember this and it being used in blatantly disgusting manners to excuse wrongdoing, open wrongdoing simply because you dislike the victim. Remember it and know if you accept it being abused what that has looked like before and what it can look like in the future.

See how you’re trying to justify his blatantly wrong actions? You’re a hypocrite.

Trump committed literal crimes and was convicted yet the country elected him. Blatantly wrong just like the jury not finding this sub thrower guilty.

Trump pardoned blatantly wrong individuals who committed blatantly wrong acts yet you justified it. Hypocrite.

Just stop.

You’re condemning the lack of justice but want to excuse the lack of justice for your president and the people he pardoned. They did not face the consequences of their actions.

Your president doesn’t believe in punishing people for their blatantly wrong actions so I don’t know why you’re trying to be the justice police in this situation

It was a crap prosecution and the Trump administration knows it. Teachers get treated worse on a daily basis and don’t file lawsuits.

Just give the dude a fine and move on

Look what was actually being argued in there. The rest of the thread is just as ridiculous

What have I justified?
You literally can't even attempt to present a rational argument.
There is nothing right about throwing anything at another adult outside of self defense. Period.
That is what you are supporting if you support this decision.

It is textbook battery. Period.
If I did that to you, you would rifghtly have a case against me and every DA would take it up especially if it was recorded.
I know a lot of you all hate maga and trump, but get real, lets follow the law that was a crime.

When you get to the point where as a society we think its okay to violate the rights of others because you don't like them, that is a horrible regression.

You’re just saying nonsense

A priest was hit with a pepper ball by ICE while kneeling. It’s being g tried as a First Amendment violation not battery.

There’s no such thing as textbook battery cause every situation is different

Lol it's 1st amendment because the priest is arguing he had the right to protest that superceded Ice's police actions

This isn't a 1st amendment case. If anyone threw a sandwich at someone they didn't like they have committed battery and that doesn't change if the person is a police man.

The mental gymnastics going on to excuse a grown man who did something dumb is crazy.

No it’s a first amendment violation cause the hit interfered with his prayer. There’s actual act of hitting another person is secondary and could be aggravated assault.

There’s no such thing as textbook battery cause there are different forms of battery the events around the incident would decide how it’s charged. Not the hit.

Stick to JBO cause t*ts and ass are easier for your brain to comprehend

No he and others have said ice violated their first amendment right to peacefully protest.

My guy at a certain point you have to use common sense. Him praying is irrelevant that would be like claiming police can't arrest you at church or if you are praying until you are done think my guy. Lol

Yes there is a such a thing as textbook battery. Dulid you physically strike someone without their consent? That's battery.

There was no reason for the man to throw a sandwich at anyone. Period. End of discussion. Like I said the retarded ess of not even saying what this is, jury nullification, which I support 100 percent is why a lot of you will always be behind the 8ball. We have lived through this shyt being the norm and just had a refresher of it with trayvin martin verdict.

Applying the law and being honest in it's application is the right path. Cheering things like this will not lead to a better society

Waste of time and money
exactly the whole deployment could be seen as illegal then they charge him for a humble and expect a liberal city to convict?

shyt shouldn't have been brought to trial.

Anyone hemmed up by ICE on a humble charge should take it to trial.
