Confederate monuments shouldn't be removed, they should be altered so as not to venerate slaveowners. Replace that statue of Jackson with a plaque about his slave owning and genocide

I mean I respect the idea somewhat because I am against shyt like them whitewashing books like Huckleberry Finn because I know years from now these people will legit try to act as if that era did not exist or that people didn't behave that way towards Black people.

Why didn's she argue against American troops toppling that Saddam statue, after all, they were erasing history using that argument? Having a monument doesn't mean "we" celebrate anything.
I'm beyond even trying to rationalize the ridiculous idea that the US is for black americans or that black americans are a part of it.
If it makes you feel good to hang around white people and complain about them not respecting or loving you or whatever fine.
