This is true and actually a recent event. You go back to say the 70s or 60 and before and the thought was that you found a mate in college or highschool. Not only that for anyone who has black family in the deep south rural areas. The thought is even today that you should get married. Even if you have children out of wedlock.

Tell kats all the time.......if you going to college and not looking for a mate you hustling backwards. Cause there will be no other time in your life were to will see single folks your age doing positive shyt to better themselves. Plus have time to date and get to know them (easy as hell to find out info on them quickly).

Try that shyt as a professional spending 10 hours a day working and driving to work. Not to mention it will take you 6 months to truely know a person because you really don't have time to be around them.

I agree with all of this and would even add before folks get jaded and start asking for the moon for no reason. Folks of both genders making 40k acting like they LBJ fresh off a 90mil Nike deal and deserve nothing but top notch when they avg at best smfh. he thing is most folks tell you nowadays to have fun and stuff in your 20's but then you usually end up mad as ever looking to find a mate in your late 20's on.
