Yep that's where I'm stuck too

None of my weapons seem to be doing much, even when I was dodging most of it

Really hope I don't have to parry the red spheres as a primary strat....lol

Hoping to get a Smart Rifle with better stats.

I'm seeing online that some folks started their runs at the first level to have super high-level gear by the time they get there - I kinda hate that it seems like a good idea

You don't have to but if you make a run through the 1st biome through the Legion fight you'll have enough resources to upgrade to a good base level for the Architect fight. That and having 2nd chance and you can hold your own.

Thanks breh - are you using parry offensively in this fight to do damage? Or just to remove the yellow spheres when he sprays them? I'm also seeing the Crossbow helps here

got to the architect last night. Yea he a problem :francis:

Gonna have to up my parrying skills

Got lucky on a level 40 Smart Rifle build that destroyed him after a few tries. Yeah I still took a bunch of damage but the gun made it waaaay easier. Some of the attack are ridiculous as fukk and IDK how the hell you are supposed to dodge or parry them.

2nd try I had a much easier time with the parry because I knew that red was coming. I dash yellow all the time and don't even bother trying to parry anything but red. Just stay moving

I had the smart rifle but could have done it with most weapons. Best tip for the 3rd phase is to intentionally leave the platform and use the grapple to avoid the attacks it throws out

Activate the eclipse at the beginning of the level, by time you get to the end you will have a bunch of artifacts and higher level weapons. I never skip the alternate rooms either.

I've played it for almost 20 mins so far (here and there)

This shyt is absolutely breathtaking...

And alot brighter than returnal

Returnal was dark... and dim..

This has more sunlight or black hole light or eclipse light whatever tf that is lol... looks awesome. And the scale of it feels massive. Looking up is like holy shyt :merchant:

Im already sold on the fun part. shyts fun af just like returnal

It’s still challenging but gives you enough constant upgrades and perks to make you feel like you’re continually getting stronger

By the end you should be blowing through it

I really want to buy this game. But I don't like the idea of starting over every time you die. And I never played Returnal.

Help me out here fam

You don't have to run the whole thing from the start like Returnal. You can go stage by stage. And the upgrades you stack up are actually acquired pretty easily. A lot of people that didn't finish Returnal are doing way better in this game.

I never played that style of game either before playing returnal (dying and forced to start over)... and at first it is incredibly frustrating because the level of difficulty. Make you say "man fukk this game" .... but its fun, and looks great and changes every time you play so you keep trying anyway and even tho you're saying "man fukk this game" you're actually getting a little bit better every time, which keeps you coming back lol...

Personally I think returnal is one of the best games ever made.. i played the wheels off that mf. I got so good at it, it felt like the game was responding to my skill level like

tenor.gif

and started throwing shyt at me i never saw...

I been playing saros for bout a week and Im just now reaching the first boss and he's killing me with ease and I cant seem to.make a dent on this mf... im like man fukk this game... but its fun as fukk and looks great and its different (environments, enemies) every time... and when you die and start over ya boy literally says "do better this time" :banderas:

This not like returnal this more inline with old school games before check points and automatic save points became the norm.

Once you get to a new biome (level) you can start at that level until you beat the boss and unlock the next one. The lay outs and enemies change slightly each time you replay the level.

Or you can choose to run it from the very first level each time.

You unlock permanent upgrades that make you stronger and carry over as well.

It’s easier to progress than returnal because of the aforementioned.

Finished up the platinum today, overall I really like the game but Returnal still tops it to me. Hope they release some DLC at some point. Can't wait for the next game from Housemarque!
