The only way to straighten them out is to completely remove them from their current situation and place them in an environment where they can be reformed. They are still very young and it can be done.... but if they remain in their current situation, you might as well write them off unfortunately; They even talk like feckless single baby mamas.

I have said this plenty of times to my wife, who has to deal with these sorts of children and their parents all school year. The problem is anything seen to be pushing that short of action, would also be seen as being outright evil by the same people complaining about the problems.

Some solutions are considered unconscionable, but sometimes major problems require drastic solutions.
