Dont give a shyt about this kid, but he said something in bold thats interesting

"It was pretty exciting being up there, seeing the coaches and watching practice," said the 5-foot-11, 185-pound slot receiver. "Their tempo was great. I liked watching their offense with all the quarterbacks battling it out. It was a good experience."
Since he committed to Florida State several schools have amped up their recruiting of Worton.
"Right now Miami, Alabama, West Virginia, Tulane and LSU are still coming after me hard," Worton said.
The visit to Tallahassee reminded Worton of why he chose the 'Noles in the first place.
"Everytime I go up to FSU it just seems like that's where I want to be and I remember how I felt the first time I visited," Worton said. "It was a good chance to get up there and meet with the new coaches."
Watching practice also got Worton excited about what FSU will do on the field in 2013.
"As far as I could see their offensive line looked really good. The team looked good, but the o-line really stood out," Worton said. "The quarterbacks all looked focused. People told me that Jameis Winston has looked the best, which is good for me because he's young and would still be there when I get there."
This spring Worton plans on taking trips to UCF, Miami, FSU, USC and Alabama. In the summer he is planning on camping at each of the Florida schools, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Ohio State.
"I'm solid to Florida State, everything feels great whenever I go up there," Worton said.

As for observations:

*Brehs, to be completely honest I wasn't really sold on Jameis as the starting QB. I've followed recruiting too long, and I know that you really can't tell what any of these dudes are going to do on this level until they do something of note. But, after today I'm all in. :smugfavre: Winston needs to be the QB. He's more dynamic and I felt like Trickett didn't show any better command of the offense than him.

*Coker has a fukking cannon. I think he has the strongest arm on the team, but he doesn't seem like he knows where it's going.

*Kelvin looked good. I'd still like to see him high point the ball better, but he seems to be improving.

*Cam Erving needs to be alright. :birdman:

*X-Lee threw a ball like 60 yards like it was nothing during the flag football at halftime; such a waste of talent.

*The homie from Orlando still raw (Kenny Shaw).

*Beatty still can't punt.

*This defense is definitely going to be more aggressive with blitzes. I hated Stoops bend, but don't break style at times. I prefer an attacking offense and defense, as opposed to reactionary, but it was effective.

*I think with Winston at QB, this would be a top 5-10 team at the end of the season if we had a dynamic play caller. Alas, I can only dream.

What was your take on LJ at CB today?

I know he got beat a few times today. I have to watch the ESPN3 joint to see when and how exactly. Overall, I do like the move. I think he had an average to poor year last year, and I think he'll bring a certain physicality to the DB spot. You hear his name a lot on tackles over the PA.

And, just so you know, I'm the original "nolesrunthis," from back in the days and of Warchant fame, do the name proud.

I'm so jealous. My boy hollered at me during and couldn't stop talkin about Jameis d gawd and Cokers arm strength. Who was at rb since they all seemed to be hurt? I think P Dubb said he's getting his jersey retired this yr for homecoming. At least that's what he told me at the U game that the same booster who came out saying Fisher needed to be HC was the one who told the rest of the boosters that it was time #9 be retired.

It was basically Chad Abrams and Willy Burnham at RB.

Trickett is transferring.

The Jameis era begins. :blessed:

From Warchant:

Thought I'd throw out a couple of quick observations. We will have a video breakdown and a Podcast posted on this tonight along with a column from Dot. But some quick reaction:

1. The Winston era begins. I think that's fairly clear by now and not something I need to explain. When the 'starter' entering spring decides to transfer, that's all you need to know. It basically guarantees that Jameis Winston will be the starting quarterback entering the fall. I still wouldn't expect Fisher to name a starter between Winston and Coker until we're in to fall camp, but there's little doubt which way the momentum is going. It's only logical for Fisher to eye the future of his program unless he were to feel Coker was a major upgrade, and as we saw in a snippet on Saturday, it doesn't seem as if Coker is that major upgrade to even make this a race.

2. For Trickett to make this decision, it's clear one of two things happened: 1) He was told by Fisher outright that he would not be FSU's starter or 2) he saw enough in practice to know what kind of uphill climb he had vs. Winston.

3. Play along for a second: Let's just say Trickett somehow won the starting job over Winston this fall -- could you imagine the type of pressure Trickett would carry on every snap, every throw, every decision, every quote? Everything would be dissected until Winston was the quarterback. So while it's much more likely that the tea leaves read that Trickett wouldn't be a factor, even Trickett's "best case scenario" doesn't sound all that enticing. I can't imagine that was a primary factor in Trickett's decision, but you wonder how much that played a role - the sort-of "no-win" situation he'd be in even with the starting job.

4.. The first options for Trickett as far as a transfer are USF and West Virginia. Let's just say the source couldn't be much closer to Trickett.

5.. Before you start speculating about a possible transfer for Jacob Coker, remember that with Trickett's decision, things have cleared up for him. He will enter the fall as the No. 2 QB at worst, and as we've seen in the past decade, it's rare for FSU to get through a season without the No. 2 QB seeing playing time (See: Trickett, Clint). My guess is that a transfer by Coker would be much more likely after the 2013 season than it would be this offseason depending on how the season shakes out.
