State Fair times was crazy just like when the Cowboys won the Super Bowl and they had that geto a$$ parade downtown. Brothas acted a fool down there. What was really crazy about it was it was premeditated. People went to the damn parade looking to get it in. Made the entire city maybe state look bad. Hell no I aint go! When I heard they was going to act a fool I aint go.

Stupid me went to school that day and it was a ghost town. I should have stayed home. We aint even do no work, just watched the damn parade on tv.
Parade for Winners Turns Ugly in Dallas : Celebration: Super Bowl champion Cowboys feted, but about two dozen are injured when violence breaks out in crowd.
I spoke on this in another thread. The movie Colors is what started alot of the gangs in Dallas in the Dallas area from what I was told. My first time seeing Bloods/Crips was in '91. The High School I went to in North Dallas had cats from North Dallas projects, mostly Crips. Some claimed Hall St. Duece but I don't know is that's a set or what. They brought in Bloods from West Dallas projects and you had Mexican gangs coming from East Dallas. I stayed far away from that Mexican ish. They wore burgundy and brown. I can't call it. North Dallas outside the projects was mainly Crips. I'll say the majority of North Dallas was Crips. Probably the majority of Dallas back then was Crips. You had a few heads coming from South Oak Cliff too but they were not in numbers. I only remember one main fight between North Dallas projects and West Dallas projects. It was a project thing and not a Blood/Crip thing though. I don't know what type of social experiment the Dallas superintendent was trying to do but for the most part everybody chilled. But things could have gotten real ugly with all of those different factions coming together under one roof. It could have been based on colors, race, what part of town you was from, rich vs. poor etc. I had my shank everyday though. When they added the metal detectors I would just go to a side door and someone would let me in. I know for a fact that people was bringing their guns in but to be honest it really wasn't needed. There was a few people I knew throughout High School that was from Cali to. Cali is only a few states away so the culture just spreaded. Cats was gettin' kilt, shot and stabbed in the city left and right over this gang ish. Make no mistake about it! When that Bangin' on Wax cd dropped it only added to the gang culture. When I was living on Forest Lane it was mainly Bloods but they weren't really unified. On Park Lane/Melody Lane, that was a different story. You had a couple of Crip sets over there all in that area. Mainly 187 Crips and some Six Deuce Hoover Crips. I just affiliated. Everyone I knew was claiming something. Got caught up wearing the colors and what not. It's natural that even if you not in it you choose sides based off of who you around the most.
Never seen any Chi Town organizations until I got cool with someone who came down from Chicago. But even with that it was just him not no one else talking about that GD ish.
To say there are no gangs in the South or it just started is laughable.
Atlanta don't represent the entire south.
Never heard of that raider ish before either. Sounds interesting.
