The cost of living in Los Angeles California was too high for a lot of blacks and they would move to other states in the south where the cost of living is much cheaper, and gang members that moved from California would branch out and start bloods and crips sets in other states all over America in the south, midwest, east, and other west coast states outside of Califonia. These are facts.
Actually, no. Nobody was moving there for cost of living, nikkas were going to Nebraska and other rural states to sell crack.

yeah drugs played a part in it too, but the cost of living was cheaper compared to California also which played a big factor in California gang members moving to the South in the early to mid 80s. They even said it on that TV show Gangland.

u do know the west was comin to the south..n the south was goin 2 the west when their paper got right

freeway rick n his family from texas...he lucked up in the coke business...controlled l.a...then started his process in texas...n other states...only to get caught up in the place he left at a early age..

crack was easy to get...but the connects from mexico..was taxin...but when nikkas from home team came close with the source...majority of those ppl didnt have to budge all they had to wait 4 was a location..

nikkas movin from the hub to other places was a bit of a reach..

those rural states has jus as much access to the drugs as the bigger cities..jus was gettin taxed for it..

i kno 4 a fact houston n dallas scene started from a cat from 5th ward that was puttin in work with waterhead bo in south central...bo had 19 states under his belt before rick ross had his first..

freeway rick will tell u waterhead bo was his mentor n he looked up to em..bo got caught up..that lane became a freeway...

johnny binder..also named .big j had a connection with bo...

if u do a background check..the texas connection goes all the way to congress...not too many black kingpins had white house mouthpiece...big j was facin 40 n only served 10..because of who he knew..1 was one woman who was never challenged from her seat after she got it in 94..1st time she was ever challenge was 2010..,,sheila is still servin...nikka had the govenor on his side..mark white pardon him when he was locked up 4 arm robbery..then him and another cat who was raised in the 5th were potnas..n that cat ended up marryin maxin waters....big j n sid been friends for yrs...

it was only right for lil j james prince to inherit all of the big js ties...one lesson lil j learned from playin the sideline..is never get ya hands dirty..the other was donate to ya state representative...they will notice...n back when u shyt go down..

Where did they hold the other 2 Superbowl parade celebrations after this?
I really don't know. The only reason I remember that one is someone asked if I was going and he told me people was going to act a fool.

As far as the Chi gang and LA gang connection there definitely is one. One time at school they had some bloods call they selfs trying to get at the homie over a set that was written in his locker. What it really was is that like seven of us shared that locker and there were about three different sets marked up in it. For some reason they chose to get at him over the five duece hoover set when they saw it. Not realizing that he was rollin' sixty from las vegas. So what happened was the gd homie from chicago who shared the locker too took offense and stepped in talking about he was one of larry hoover's boys and if they had a problem with it then they had a problem with him. That let me know that hoover crips and gd's are connected. Back then I didn't know nothing about the chicago gangs, that was my introduction. There was talks of shooting them from the sixty's side but I don't think anything ever happened over it.

There was a small situation the gd had in the neighborhood and I told him to let us know if he had any problems because he was cool with us and he was new to the neighborhood. He told me that if push came to shove that his homies from the chi would fly down and deal with it. I used to think he was just talking, not knowing what he was apart of. There was another time where he was telling me how he liked dallas and how he could do his thing and not have to get dressed up and go out and get people to register to vote. Now I know that he was talking about how the organization was getting political and they would literally force the members to spend time doing that or they would get disciplined. Looking back I guess that was growth and development but he only wanted to be a gangster disciple. One more thing and I'm going to leave this alone. One time he handed me a copy of some article talking about them cracking down on the gd's and them arresting alot of people. So I'm reading the article and it's talking about money laundering and racketing and whatnot and I'm like, 'yall sound like the mob.' I never will forget, he looked at me and said 'we are the mob!' :demonic: That's when I realized that there are levels to the streets.
