Both of those dudes have been performing in the middle east for some time now. Bill already been to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which aint as bad as Saudi but they got their own controversery (Labourers, Money laundering, Sudan)

Russell was like the first global touring comic of the modern era, in a sense he would perform in all controversial places and obviously he would talk about it in his comedy. Hes been to Saudi before too
