I was anticipating 'Savages', kinda loved the book, but it turned out to be terrible. I was embarrassed in that shyt, they turned it into a joke, Salma Hayek was hamming it up like the vampire queen, so was Del Toro.

That kind of trainwreck and mangling of real life material is offensive, my only question was did they not know, or not care to portray things accurately? As I walked out I was muttering 'fukk Oliver Stone', he's a complete hack, and ruined a great premise, and a good book with that garbage.
