OP has a good point, but remember this: the vast majority of us are the descendants of the earlier Black folks that didn't give up. The rest either died off or made sure their descendants could "pass". Not everyone even wants to make it but as long as there are some of us this thing will keep going. If everyone just mentors 1-2 young men that's all that can be asked of you. Stop trying to come up with some super solution or policy. This country ain't doing that anymore.

Also, as bad as it is we are always the outgroup so at least we know how to deal with adversity. Look at suicide stats in other communities.

All due respect go into more detail

the edomites saw how well ADOS were doing post reconstruction (we had our own prosperous towns, homes, churches, business, solid nuclear families, were doing well above average in terms of education, essentially becoming a challenge to white economic dominance) , and first started to attack us over time, burning down these businesses, destroying the towns, stealing land, murdering business owners (for instance google the red summer of 1919, one of many instances). the global outcry against these events were real, and it made the united states look even worse since black men participated in ww1 and ww2, as well as fighting in defense of the union during the civil war.

black people got more and more wise in terms of fighting wars and battles against the white supremacist both intellectually and physically. we got more organized and pressured them. they decided that they would pull a ruse on us by using someone like MLK (who was boule alongside al sharpton, john lewis and some of the other members of the civil rights circle) to proverbially "calm the beast" by rolling us from being somewhat self governing and self sufficient, to dependent on the white supremacist for everything. when you are dependent on your oppressor for everything, your destiny is in their hands.

so they made integration sound like it was the end all be all to racism/white supremacy, but think about this, does it logically make ANY sense to get closer to your oppressor? we went from producing for ourselves, to being policed by race soliders, kept dependent on welfare and education from the oppressor, whihc creates this logical loop that keeps us in love with them, whichi keeps us from bringing them to task for their crimes against humanity.

not to over romanticize things in the past, but don't you think it's interesting how gangsta culture, heavy drug use, single parent familiies and the like rose in number AFTER integration?

why is it that black wealth hasnt risen since reconstruction?

ask yourself, why is it that we are still being murdered and mistreated by race soldiers decades after integration? what did integration actually accomplish? was the goal for a racial utopia or to more easily control ADOS people by keeping us dependent on white supremacy more directly?

Ain't about to derail my shyt :skip:

breh i had a a google hangout today with the 4 black women in my dept. (one is in her early 30s and the other 3 are 40+) and it’s like they just aren’t “jaded enough” to see how shyt really is for brehs in these companies.

They are well aware of the major diversity issues, microaggressions, getting passed over for opportunities and shyt but will still hit you with some “go and vote” shyt like that magically fixes stuff. I don’t give a fukk about who the president is because no president will ever really look out for brehs in a meaningful way and you gotta be a c00n like Kanye to even get in the president’s ear. So I could care less.

But I get the sense that these ladies think I’m on some “fukk it” shyt when i just know it is impossible to try to battle a whole company that (like many corporations) don’t even want brehs and brehettes up in there in the first place. So of course shyt will ever drastically change. The game is rigged. Greater people have come before them at these companies, hit a ceiling or got pushed out.

So I told then like I would tell anyone; get your bread, cash them checks and focus on the non work shyt you want to do and love to do. If Rona taught us anything, it’s that this work shyt ain’t the shyt we should be focused on.

The scary thing js... the ideas are not super solutions. They are basic things every community does naturally.

In fact, we were doing most of this before the 70s... we going backwards

We gotta plug the in the boat before we even think about going any further
