This is false. Some of us come from nurturing extended families and networks, full of Black men,women, and children who care about us. I would bet money that this applies to you too.

I dont think @Barnett114 meant it literally. If he did, I ll let him speak for himself. What i think he meant is that it's SOOOOO much stacked against us and in 2020 with the ehco chambers of social media and fake bot accounts parroting LSA/thot talking points it feels worse. Media is a powerful programming tool. Also, 2020 is the first year I remember seeing cops on TV killing us for what seems like months on end. It's a depressing ass video loop. My family and extended family is great. I think he was pointing to a broader issue. Just my thoughts tho.

The first point: Mental health is real. Take care of yourself -exercise, go outside, sleep, eat right, take your medication, see a shrink...whatever you need to be good. Like @MajesticLion posted earlier. It's constant psychological operations/warfare. Think how many videos on national news, twitter, here, etc you've seen where police have been murdering us. That shyt ain't good for our mental. Then the world expects us to digest that the bullshyt in our own life and functional normal.

The second point: I used to mentor teenagers and so many of them were so embarrassed to cry in front of me. I used to hug them and say "cry bro." We're human. My nephew was crying and tried to hide it. I asked why, he said men don't cry. I said who told you that. He said his dad. It took everything in me to not tell him his dad is an idiot and cries himself.
