Had a medical emergency earlier when my Dad was stung by some type of bee or wasp while cutting the grass (he’s been stung before and was good)
Immediately started swelling up and developing welts on his skin and started struggling to breathe and speak, I luckily have an Epipen issued to be from my doctor for emergencies so once my mom started tending to him, I grabbed my Epipen and it was administered to my dad which helped to relieve him a bit. He collapsed while trying to walk to the front door and while I got 911 on the line until the ambulance arrived where they injected him with meds to keep him from going into shock, he was eventually put in the ambulance and transferred to the hospital where he was able to rest and is now back home.
Crazy how fast something can develop with allergic reactions and is personally why I have a fear of bees and wasps. If I hadn’t responded to my dad so quick he might not have made itThankfully he’s good now, crazy how my pops saved my life multiple times as a kid and I finally got to pay him back in return
must be a terrible feeling to see your pops down like that. I’m glad everything worked out. Bod is good.
I’m thinking this was some different kinda wasp or something, my grandma said it could’ve been the queen and that my dad may have disturbed a nest or somethingAs a kid i got stung by bees, wasp, and even a yellow jacket
Only reaction i ever had was swelling
I once stepped on a dead wasp on the back porch and my foot swelled the fukk up![]()

What Are Adult Onset Allergies?
Adult-onset allergies are those allergy symptoms that manifest later in life. This could be anywhere from younger adulthood, such as in a person’s 20s, to a person’s senior years, when they are 70 or 80 years old. Typically, if you lived through your 20s and your 30s without any new allergies, the chances of getting adult-onset allergies diminishes.
The strangest part about adult-onset allergies is that you can wake up today irritated by an allergen that didn’t bother you yesterday. You could have been in contact with said allergen every single day for years with no adverse effects. Now, you have a runny nose, itching eyes and uncontrollable sneezing around that allergen.
