Right, because Training Day isnt one of the best movies and didnt win numerous awards for being such. Why are so emotional with someone else having a different opinion than yours?

To my knowledge Training Day DIDN'T get a bunch of awards. The bulk of the praise was for Denzel's performance.
Goodfellas on other hand is one of the most well recieved movies EVER. It got multiple Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for both the cast and crew and it widely considered one of the best films of that decade if not all time.

The people who made Training Day wouldn't even agree with that. I like the film a lot, but it's not seeing Goodfellas.
Just because you like a movie more doesn't mean it's better.

The Copa scene alone in Goodfellas is better than anything in Training Day.
And I've seen both 5+ times.....
The story, script, editing, cinematography and music in Goodfellas is simply on another level.
Training Day is cool. Goodfellas is a masterpiece.

Meh. It's all subjective. Me? Personally, I think Goodfellas is the better film (it's #2 in my top 5 movies of all time), but I'm not going to say that Training Day doesn't have it's merits. Goodfellas is a great ensemble cast movie (everyone stands out, some more than others) about the life while all TD really has is Denzel's magnanimous performance. Whenever TD comes on TV (usually USA) I stop what I'm doing and

I honestly think that saying this is more offensive than saying "Training Day > Goodfellas"
At least Training Day is a different type of movie, not a worse, overlong "remake"
