So I came up on this tv

But the tv wont come on( I tried different power cords and outlets). The guy I got it from said it could possibly be the power board.

I did find this part

https://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-bn44-00611a-power-supply-unit.htm

Just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with a problem like this and if you could suggest anything.

Thanks brehs :salute:

Have you opened the TV to check the boards? Could be a blown capacitor. If you know how to solder, the fix could be pretty cheap:
Repair your electronics by replacing blown capacitors

That board isn't too pricey either, though.
YouTube has a lot of good guides on soldering and replacing capacitors

I opened it up earlier, but didn't know what I was looking at :heh:

Now that I checked that link I'll open it up again and see if it's the capacitors. Thanx mayne!

I just had to replace my main board on my Samsung 4K. It was free because I was still under warranty. The guy came to the house, took the back off, unplugged 2 cords, replaced the board and reconnected the 2 cords. It looked easy as hell.

I'd start with a power board. It's easy to do. Just be gentle on taking off the connections.
