Say brehs, I'm thinking about buying a new console next week, help a brother out.

So i'm thinking about buying either the Xbox One or PS4 and maybe even the Wii U.
What huge differences are there between the two former. I'm talking long term differences.
Right now both have shiity ass games out that I already have for Last Gen.
But in terms of exclusives and functionality which one should I look into?

I might also want to do more than just play games on it

i prefer the ps4's (eventual) library. I like the naughty dog games and the fact they got the MLB show. Go with whatever you prefer as far as exclusives, since neither have shyt out right now. You like halo, KI etc get a box, u like uncharted etc go with the ps4. also what current gen system do you have? that should help your decision.

Look at the games availible for all three and decide what games you'll enjoy playing most and go from there. IMHO the xbox one has the superior library, so i would go for it. It is however the most expensive, so be aware of your budget before jumping in friend.

But honestly, the voice control features are worth the price of entry alone. Nothing beats yelling at your TV to change channels, launching music and apps, as well as play games.

Kinect = That undisputable M$ advantage.

I've had a 360 since launch and I copped a PS3 last month. No lie i'm feeling the games on the PS3 a bit more.
But overall I felt like 360 was still the better console. Right now i'm kind of torn between the newer generation because both are great. I don't fukk with Halo at all though

PS4 = more powerful, cheaper, more varied exclusives (there's a reason you can't find one)

Again, there's a reason people want the PS4 more than the Xbox One. Why pay more for a weaker console.

If you aren't interested in any of the games that have been announced/release thus far, then Your best bet is to wait until some games you are interested in get announced.
