i agree why dont they just add the players as a major they already consider it 1They're not thought of, they ARE more important than a regular tournament. There's much more prestige in winning The Masters or The Open Championship than winning Hilton Head or The Shell Open

They dont consider it a real "major", but it is a very well run tournament. I havent heard any plans to add another major anytime soon & i really dont think they need to
