Right. Ain’t nobody out here pressed to hear any of these guys. I was a huge Lebatard guy but after a while , he just became background noise. I’m still trying to figure out what makes Rusillo appealing. He’s just another name dropping blowhard. And Simmons in some ways is becoming white Stephen A. This mf watched one half of a preseason Pats game and said TreyVeon Henderson is Jahmyr Gibbs. The same Henderson who couldn’t stay healthy and that OSU went out and get Judkins cause of it.

Yeah, the disconnect here is that we're still relatively early in this phase of podcasting/online personalities being so prominent in sports, and we're actually kind've reaching the point where some of these bigger names are starting to enter the phase where they start appealing to specific audiences, and not much else. While there's plenty of money being thrown around at these folks now, it honestly wouldn't be surprising to see them see a Howard Stern like career arc where some of theses shows effectively exist in a vacuum for people who aren't dedicated fans.

My thing is, with all of the money they have at their disposal, why cant they hire people that are likable. Nobody on the planet turns on ESPN for Mad Dog Russo or Kendrick Perkins but they are on marquee shows. I dont get it.
As a new Yorker who listened to Mike & the mad dog for years mad dog plays his role well:manny:I will check out a mad dog clip on YouTube before almost any of the other talking heads they have on

Mad Dog's rant on Pete Alonso becoming the HR leader for the Mets had me :dead:

His baseball rants are hilarious.
